BE STILL MY HEART. THIS IS THE BEST BOOK. THERE'S SO MUCH JAX I CAN'T HANDLE IT.

The book picks up where book two left off, and Chloe finds herself locked in a boring ol' room with nothing to do except eat veggies and sleep for a few hours at a time. She's still plagued by nightmares and it's only getting worse without Trent by her side.

After a few days of being locked in and requesting to see Ivy, the leader of the Rose Coven, Chloe's wish is granted but nothing comes out of it. Nothing except Jax. It turns out he was kidnapped at the same time as her and now Ivy's put them together in an attempt to break the curse by slowly starving Jax and hoping he'd feed on Chloe.

Eventually they do get rescued and Chloe is finally able to go back home to her aunt, uncle, friends...and Trent. But Chloe's formed a strong bond with Jax during the weeks they'd spent together and can't stop thinking about him. It doesn't help that he's EVERYWHERE and begging for a chance. Will she finally give him one?

And what's Isach doing back? Spying? Hatching another plan to kill Chloe? Perhaps he's changed for the better? Only time will tell.

I CAN NOT EXPLAIN HOW HAPPY I WAS WHILE READING THIS BOOK. IT'S LIKE MOST OF IT WAS WRITTEN FOR ME.

Jax grew on me in the last book but now I'm 101% Team Jax. He's so free and nice and funny and I love him okay?

Trent only sunk lower by making a promise that wasn't his to make and by causing that whole hallway scene. You ever heard of privacy Trent? Guess not.

Poor Chloe is so confused in this book, and even though I'm dying to know her choice (I didn't read the bonus Chapter 1 of the next book so I don't spoil it for myself, but maybe I'll cave and then suffer until book four), what I really wish is for her to get some decent sleep. Preferably one of those sixteen hour long ones.

I'm glad Isach's back with somewhat noble intentions. He went from interesting to endearing, he better not ruin it.

Now can we please talk about this:

"Well, my dear." Macaih patted my leg, and I jumped at the unexpected touch. "You have been marked."

WHEN I TELL YOU I SCREAMED YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT.

That's my absolute favourite part. I had to put my phone down for a few minutes while grinning like an idiot. THIS IS WHAT I SIGNED UP FOR. I kept rereading that part over and over again and I'm still thinking about it. I had a feeling, but when it was confirmed...you get the point. Happy happy joy joy.

Having Chloe's friends back was great too. Whenever Abby questioned the totally fake story I wished she'd just accept it and stop trying to make the terrible liar lie more. And I hoped her own memories would come back for optimal chaos but there's still time.

Eternal Bond is very relationship focused but that's okay with me. Aside from the action at the beginning there's mention of more near the end (more witches gathering in Keene Valley). And Chloe remembered Simon too awwww (even though she didn't call him...), that's a plus.

Halfway through the series now, I'm ready to sink my teeth (haha) into the next book. And the next. And then the final one.

*I'd like to thank the amazing author for providing me with an e-ARC in exchange for an honest review*

Usually, when it comes to love triangles, I tend to know which of the two I want the main character to end up with. Like Chloe, I am conflicted.
In the third book of The Cursed Series , Eternal Bond, Chloe wakes to find herself taken hostage by the Rose Coven. All they want is for her to become a vampire so that the curse will be lifted and their powers will be stronger. Yet, Chloe is not quite ready to give up her human life. Not too long after, Jax is thrown into Chloe's cell and the two of them bond even further, forcing Chloe to have to ultimately choose between Jax and Trent. No matter the decision, she knows that she will have to face an uncertain future.
Book 3 did not disappoint. I devoured it quickly as I did with the first two books in the series, and I cannot believe I have to wait nearly a month to find out what happens next! It's torture!
On the flipside, I really like where the story is going. Although the first book really resembled Twilight , the second and third book really branched out in creativity and imagination. One of the things that I didn't like as much about this book is the lack of action. There isn't that much that happens in the book besides Chloe's uncertain feelings for both Trent and Jax. Still, I can't wait to see what Chloe will do next!
