Let's talk...
Spoilers ahead.

I am writing this review a day later to let what I have read sink in.

I always said this book was not my type, but wow was I wrong! For a first CoHo book it did definitely not disappoint. As I'm typing this review I am just still so baffled I don't even know what to believe!

I just fell straight into Lowen's world and feared for her life as soon as she pulled up on the Crawford property! I take that back, as soon as she witnessed what happened on the very first page of the book! I can now say a book has kept me up at night...

I must ask you guys if you felt how I felt whilst reading Verity's letter at the end? I think I highlighted about every sentence, word even! I just... I have no words for this book! I fully regret the way I felt about Verity throughout the whole book because after reading that letter... Everything made sense. Was anybody mad at Lowen like I was? I mean he tries to kill Verity without even allowing her to explain. Actually, now that I just wrote that out it makes me genuinely think about what Jeremy must have gone through as he read that manuscript. I know I would have done the same thing.. Which I hope doesn't make me sound too crazy!

Colleen, you absolute legend! You really do have an amazing mind and this book will forever be with me. THANK YOU!

My top favourite book of all time!

My heart was pounding the entire time! The ending is ambiguous, which usually doesn’t work for me. Somehow Hoover made it work, and work well.

   | I am so late behind my reading list. A very hectic work week ahead.

Now to Verity. Verity is such complicated story. I think Miss Hoover wants to bring her inner mystery thriller writing into the story. Do I like it? Yes I enjoyed most of the book with a notes.

The notes are:
1. The heroine, Lowen. I am surprise that Miss Hoover writes such shallow heroine. Her judgemental and emotional state keeps me frustrated.

2. The plot. Although it is decent enough, I want to see more twist on the plot. I feel Miss Hoover spend too much portion of the book on sex.

Aside from those notes, I do enjoy Verity very much.
