I was willing to overlook some choices about Fawn’s character because I thought the world building was interesting, but this book took a turn and I am not feeling it.

An interesting start, but derailed into this weird May-December romance.
Not to say such things do not work -- obviously people of all ages and culture and gender could get together and have amazing relationships -- but I cannot deal with a man nearly 60 behaving like a teenaged boy around another innocent *cough cough ignorant* Mary Sue.
