I think we regular people may have forgotten a basic truth—we don't really have the right to judge anyone else. “

It was an interesting read but was a bit slow at parts. It was nice to see how everything concluded at the end of the story. All in all, it was a story about revenge.

This was interesting. I was really intrigued to see we’re this would go and what actually happened. My favorite part was seeing how all the different characters and their motives differed from what you thought previously from another point of view. I do have to say though that most of the reasons things happened honestly was stupid and didn’t even make sense to me(like it did, but I don’t think any of it works, but then again they are psychopaths). I think this is worth picking up, but to me nothing shocked me and it was a little repetitive at times which I personally didn’t mind.

Jezus Christ this was dark. And so so good. It just kept spiraling and spiraling and you never knew what the next move was going to be. I gasped multiple times, one of the best and most thrilling books I've read in a while. (but so many triggerwarnings, please look them up in advance)

The shock from how the first chapter ended was really something.

The ending was concluded well in my opinion.

This book was dark and fucked up and the twists and different points of view were really eye opening

some loose ends left but the ending was still wild and wrapped up the book in a clear (yet really fucked) way.

What the fuck! Lmao!

This was fine. Cool concept. Kind of lost interest and felt not much after, but still liked reading. I am so scared of children.

HOLY SHIT MAN THE WAY I DEVOURED THIS!! This was so dark and I loved how everything connects throughout and at the end. Chapter 3 was my only "meh" chapter since I didn't think that POV was that helpful, but it wasn't bad at all. I screamed so many times in my room when I learned something new about a character or how this piece fits in the larger puzzle that is the Manami crime. I feel like other thrillers are going to have a hard time beating this standard.

Each chapter is told from the perspective of a new character, and while usually that's a neat narrative tool, in Confessions each chapter just ends up rehashing the same information we've learned in Chapter 1. You can only re-read the same information so many times before it feels incredibly tedious.
