??? i know teenagers can be ridiculous and pretentious but there's usually some logic to the pretension. i have no idea where kasuga thinks he's going with this whole 'other side' business. 2 stars

I watched the anime of this originally around ten years ago and remember really liking it. The manga doesn't resonate with me at all. It feels hollow, like it's ambitious in premise but the medium doesn't lend itself well to telling this story. The characters are interesting, but never explored enough that I care about them. What drove them to the point that they felt they the need to isolate themselves from society and take refuge in each other aside from this idea of "perversion"? The art style, I can't stand. Shuzo Oshimi's art is usually beautiful, but at this point in his career, it was basic and awkward. I don't know if I'll ever finish this manga. I had to force myself through the first four books.

Hmm, well Kasuga chose the option I never expected him too. But, that's all good, keeps the story more interesting when it's not too predictable.

Nakamura is such an interesting character. I hope we find out more about what she's like and why she is the way she is.

The art style is basic, yet detailed. It definitely makes the story, especially the expressions on the characters faces.

On to the next volume!!

Oh man...there is so much wrong with this...but I'm enjoying it. Also wondering what that says about me? But whatever...in here for it.

Flowers of Evil is more interesting in this volume. The main characters sort of did a switch-a-roo and it left me wanting more.

The progress was expected. This series is good for marathons. You cant get enough of the "WHY" and "What's next?".
