Slightly pretentious at times in my personal opinion, but I’ve always felt meh towards essay style formats of writing about one’s self. I would be interested in reading his medical material though.

This slim collection of 4 essays is more about aging/nearing death than gratitude. But what better way to approach anything—even the end of life—than with gratitude?

Very short, but stunningly beautiful. I can't imagine rating it anything other than all stars. I'll certainly read it a few more times in the future.

This is a very quick read - just four short essays written towards the very end of his life. However, it gave me a lot to think about. The essays talk about aging, terminal illness, facing death, and embracing life. Overall, very inspirational. It was recommended in Julianna Margulies' memoir, Sunshine Girl, as an inspiration for her to practice gratitude.
