This was a quick and fun read! I enjoyed diving back into the world of Thorn Manor. It was pretty fluffy and clearly just filler, but it was cool to see a little more of Elisabeth and Nathaniel. It was super cute, but there was one scene in particular – when the clothes came to life – that was pushing campy in the comical category and was a little much for me. However, I loved the ending!
SpoilerIt is the cutest thing ever that Silas pushed the house into acting up the way it did so that Nathaniel would finally propose *squees*

Side note: CAT SILAS IS ON THE COVER OMG. How did I not notice it before? I only saw it because when I uploaded the cover image it was huge and just happened to pop up on the top left corner! Squeeee!

This novella serves as an extended epilogue to Sorcery of Thorns, and I don’t think I stopped smiling once from opening it to finishing it. I love these characters so much, and I’m so glad that Margaret Rogerson indulged her readers’ wishes to spend more time with them.

In Sorcery of Thorns, we got sentient books; this time around, we are treated to the delight of a sentient mansion, complete with a scene in which our heroes are attacked by vintage clothing (the horror!!).

“Where is the dressing gown?” Nathaniel shouted into her ear, looking like he was having more fun than a person had any right to be defending himself against his great-great-aunt’s homicidal knickers.

Living with Nathaniel, this sort of thing was more or less in line with a regular Tuesday.

Effortlessly charming and humorous in the way that all of Rogerson’s books are, Mysteries of Thorn Manor hits the spot for anyone wishing Sorcery of Thorns hadn’t ended so soon.

“Not every story has a happy ending. But most do, if you’re brave enough to keep reading to the end.”

I literally loved this. Definitely needed the extra bit on Nathanial's background, and enjoyably romantic plot and has all the feels. Got a little confused about the Silas situation
Spoiler(like is he tied to them, taking their years, ect.??) at the end, and about the engagement stuff
. Really cute ending, wrapped up all the loose ends.
