Another weird story from Lovecraft in his Dream Cycle involving cats.
Some will find it amazing, some will find it excruciating and others like myself on the word side of literature.
It's like finding yourself in that part of You Tube but in writing.

This is basically a little fairytale written by someone who clearly really liked cats.

Ha! in your face old creepy couple who hate cats!!!
That end, oh my God that end! I really wish, from the bottom of my heart that this will happen to all animal abusers! AMEN!

Eh. It's Lovecraft. It's not Lovecraft at his best, it's not Lovecraft at his worst; it's not Lovecraft at his most racist, but it's not Lovecraft at his least racist. It's spooky enough; a good horror story, but one where you're on the side of the monster.

I liked it, but I didn't LOVE it.

“Namely, in Ulthar, no man can kill a cat.” :3

I like stories where cat killers get what they deserve.
