Dang I can’t believe I waited so long to read this book. But yeah it was amazing and lived up to the hype. Also I felt like I was a pretty good target audience for this book, because I grew up loving icarly and grew up mormon.
Listened to on Audible.

I watched iCarly and Sam & Cat when I was younger and seeing this book written by Jennette McCurdy really surprised me, because I had no idea of her real life. I found her story captivating, intriguing, inspiring, funny, deep, and so much more. I definitely think parts of her story will resonate with me.

I love the way jennette mccurdy writes — so direct it’s disarming, maybe so it’s easier for both of us to digest the horrific abuse inflicted upon her by her family, her partners, her directors. it makes me feel sad to know so many people let this person down. it makes me feel better to see her change was self-initiated, imperfect, but hopefully lasting.
