Anora has these abilities and has no clue why, or what she's supposed to do with them. She knows she sees dead people, and captures spirits into coins. From there, she has no idea, until she attends a new school and discovers more people can see the dead. The truth about who she is and her abilities eventually come to light.
I enjoyed this! The story was captivating, and I didn't want to put it down, needing to know what happened next. I can't wait to read the next book.

I picked this up expecting a stand alone and was let down to find that it's just a series she abandoned. That being said - it ended cleanly. The analogy I keep coming to is a Batman movie. There is always resolution but there is always more adventures to be had. I wanted to know more about Anora and Shy. But it was cute. It was fun.

I enjoyed this. It pulled vibes from a couple other series I have read and liked so no surprise I liked this.
The characters were relatable and it was a great plot with shifters and magic.
I loved how it ended with room to continue the story.

I quite enjoyed this book, it gave me mortal instruments vibes. Our MC can see dead people but not only that she can trap their souls in coins and those coins can be used to do something powerful and therefore people want her. But she doesn’t even know what she is. The world building was fantastic and the “good guys” were interesting, ||the fact that they can shape shift into ravens||. What I’ll never understand in these types of books, like twilight and so on why they make them attend a regular high school.. for like no reason.
