Good Story!

This was a fun story! We get to know Delilah and her friends, we get to meet her smexy Hawaiian Biker and her Ex who while not the best man overall turns out to be a great dad at the very least.

I went into this not realizing it was a continuous series about Delilah however I like that while the book ends with a HFN and open for more there is an end to a storyline and you don’t feel like you have to read more unless the story interests you!

I will definitely come back to this series

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley.

I enjoy a good man hater story every now and then, especially when the MC finds happiness. This was an easy read with humor, smut and everything someone could want in a escapist book.

Great short read. Lila was a great female role. I love that she was fearless about just walking into difficult situations just to get the pictures she needed.

This started out strong. It started out as basically a 4 or a 5. It was funny and fun and I was into it. Then it just started going downhill and got more and more ridiculous and less fun.

Lila Horton is a photographer for a Private Investigator trying to make ends meet after leaving her husband "The Douche" after catching him having sex with another woman. She is completely bitter towards men and has no desire for another relationship. When she is saved by a man on a motorcycle, Lila wonders if this bad boy could be just what she needed.

Cade Wilkes seems to always be at the right place at the right time. His southern drawl gets Lila's heart beating faster each time.

As Lila is drawn further into danger with the case she is working on will Cade be there to save her or will he break her heart?

I enjoyed this book and thought some of the humor was great! Lila was feisty and so bitter and at the same time so in over her head that I was super scared for her with what she was getting involved in. I can't believe Moose held certain details back from Lila!

I loved Cade although I really wasn't sure at times where his loyalties were and why he was there.

Good book and I look forward to more from the author!

I tried a couple different times to get into this book, but it wasn't for me. I don't like how it spelled everything out for you. When you are describing a character I want more than using a listing of the qualities.

He was dark, mysterious, sexy, tall, rugged, biker, bad boy, dangerous, over-bearing, etc etc

I hate that type of writing. This book was not for me
