The writing style in nice but I feel like Anne needs her hard drives checked, so much pedophilia.

Nowhere near as lush with Southern gothic horror as the first Mayfair Witch book, & entirely too much time spent with all the characters describing what they find irresistibly erotic about every other character, every other sentence. Interspersed are backstories, but again without the rich detail & emotion that made the first book interesting. And don’t get me started on the racism, sexism, ableism, problematic relationships between adults and children…Glad this is the last book in the series.
Graphic: Ableism, Adult/minor relationship, and Pedophilia
Moderate: Body shaming, Racism, and Sexism
