Low angst to the point of silliness, the conflict/tension between the characters is very minimal but instead of writing it accordingly what happens is overblown overthinking in the MMC’s head where the reader lives, only to be resolved in a single conversation.

This was another charming paranormal, small-town romance. The conflict is fairly low. Blue and Ximena are great together. Their longing was very evident and I was very happy when they finally decided that they can accept each other as mates. I hope that Ms. Carter continues this series.
