This is book two in the Cedar Bend series and it features Damien and Savvy. Savvy struck me as someone who thought she was better than everyone else. Damien's thoughts and actions were kind of old school. They both have their issues but it's so hard to fight that intense sexual chemistry. Pops was great! It's so hard to go through Alzheimer's disease with a family member.

I love this book but the part of the story leading up to the end felt too rushed. Also, the issue with Quinn was left up in the air. We didn't even get a slight hint at what happened to keep us interested.

Savvy is visiting family when by chance she meets Damian. Several years later they meet again under different circumstances.

Lena Hart has written a beautiful, sweet, small town romance that has two characters you will fall in love with. I loved this so much i will be checking out the first in the series and other books by Lena

This was a really good book by Lena Hart. I didn't like Savvy at first but she grew on me like mold. Damian on the other hand was a sweetheart and watching the two of them get together when they're opposites was an awesome creation of writing. For me these types of books are best. Especially, the trope of jilted marriage and then meeting "the one" and he's the complete opposite of the female character. Those usually work best. This was a great second book.

I was given an ARC copy of this book by the publisher in exchange for an honest opinion. All opinions expressed are my own and do not reflect anyone else's.
