This wasn't a great book and it's not a remarkable series but each volume has been reliably entertaining and sometimes that is exactly what I'm looking for.

Lots of great action with bits of down time for character development. If you watch the anime, this covers the adventure in Water Town with the blind Sword Maiden.
Just really well done again. I do enjoy the down time and planning more than the action and this volume had more of the latter, but I still enjoyed it and I can't wait to read the next one!

I really enjoyed the nods to the LOTR throughout this one. Especially the flashback training section. Overall just as enjoyable as the first. A DND campaign but on paper.
