It's too bad these aren't the lunatic fringe anymore. They are paid big money to stir up the pot and spread hate. Excellent book.

Fairly readable. As a self-declared moderate I wanted to see more. But it would certainly seem hard to be current on extremism as well as historical. I doubt that very many people I know would believe the majority of the stuff in this book. But then again I consider what I believed possible in the George W. Bush administration and it explains a lot of the 'not sure'. As an agnostic it is hard for me not to find it somewhat reasonable for someone to say not proven to just about anything. Hopefully there are better books than this out there, but I definitely would think it a good thing if more people read this one.

Really good book on how both ends of the political spectrum are paralyzing our ability to govern this nation. Unfortunately, those that get caught up on the emotinal rhetoric do not realize that they are being manipulated by the talking heads for financial gain. Quick read.
