*A book based on the Buddha. Hesse just uses the same name.*

Great spiritual and personal growth of character. Spirituality is based off of Buddhist philosophies. Great messages and insight of living in the same time as the Buddha.

The main character is a Mary Sue who has 8 pages of difficulty that gets solved in 6. This book is a pure essence of “tell, don’t show”. It reads like a story written by a 5th grader got put through 4 layers of Google Translate for a majority of the time.

You will get the message and sentiment in a more enjoyable way reading a summary.
