I met the author during the conference and she said “enjoy the gay cheese book” and I did.

really cute, i loved our two protagonists, and i love a pretending-to-be-a-boy slay! art was fantastic, the cheese theme was quite silly, and it was actually thoroughly touching. their getting-to-know-each-other arc was cute but also engaging

I'll confess, I picked this up because of that wacky title. My interest was piqued, but I am SO glad I checked this book out... it's easily one of my favorite graphic novels I've read this year. (Might even be my top pick. I adored everything about it.)

This story is a beautifully illustrated rom-com with a cast of characters I loved to bits! The two MCs had palpable chemistry. It was so easy to root for them. 💕 I laughed out loud at parts, my heart ached at others. So many (literally) cheesy puns, and if anything, I wish it was longer so we could get some resolution on
Spoilercertain laws that should get passed.

Overall a sweet-as-can-be love story... Queer, cheesy goodness. 1000/10.
