ngl I was a little annoyed when I realized this was Jack + Angela's origin stories (independent of each other until they meet at the very end), but I ended up really loving it. def makes me like them more now

Graphic: Rape, Sexual violence, Violence, Blood, Death, and Sexual content
Moderate: Murder and Homophobia
There’s a good plot but there’s a tonne of sexual content (inc noncon) considering its not tagged as erotica. Could do without the sexual violence scenes that I skip through but respect that the characters (victim-survivors of violence) do view their experience as assaults. This series is definitely a slow burn for the mcs but they’re getting busy in the meantimethenorwegianperson's review

The spice is phenomenal. And it's a book about spice, with a hint of plot. But seeing as this is the second book, I wished it could have given a bit more tension with the whole plot and given a clear suspense. It ended like the first book, very abruptly - not cliffhanger.
I don't know if I want to continue the series as all the books are terrible short and the first two don't have the usually building up to something flipping the tables towards the end.

I understand this book was like the main characters past but I was a little confused at first the synopsis should’ve said it’s a prequel
And I don’t understand it’s significance
But it was enjoyable

Second book in the Dark Ink Tattoo series and this is addictive. It does not disappoint! It has a great intensity in drama and relationships along with so many feels, steam, heartbreak and action. I did not put this book down and it only made me more invested in the series. I am excited to read more of this series.

This book was good. I loved hearing Jack and Angela’s origin stories. It really helped round out their characters. I’m excited to see where the story goes from here.

I loved this book it goes back to Angela’s and Jack’s beginning. How Angela became a werewolf and Jack a vampire. This made me love Jack even more and understand why he’s such a alpha-hole now. I’m looking forward to book 3 in March and I might be persuaded to buy the paperbacks.
