This is the first book I have read from this author and it wont be the last, I loved this book.

Naomi walked away from the man she loved when she was 18, but she wanted to do more and see more than settle down, so she wrote him a letter and left.

Now she is back and successful, and wants Jake again, but knows that he probably hates her and wont want anything to do with her, so she bids and wins 4 dates with him at the charity auction, he was horrified, but he couldn't back out.

After acting like a total Jerk on the first date, Jake realised that he had been too harsh on Naomi, and starts to forgive her, she is the one woman that he cant get out of his head.

All Fired Up is a small town, second chance, hot contemporary romance and I loved it. the Secondary characters are great too.

I was pleasantly surprised to find myself back in Bliss River with several familiar names (and even mentions of Happy Cat!). Naomi and Jake’s second chance love story took time to ignite, to work past old hurts. But when it did, things between them really took off. The secret that would nearly break them was one we could see coming. I was glad that things were resolved fairly quickly. I’m really looking forward to Faith and Mick’s story. We get a preview inside All Fired Up (although the timing of it felt a bit weird to me) and again after the novel ends. I am happy to return to Bliss River anytime. Plus the narrators (Lili and Teddy) were incredible. They really brought Naomi and Jake (and Faith) to life.

Quick-read second chance romance

The story is very fast-paced which I love. However, I think a little more depth was needed between the two MCs. Their flame got reignited rather quickly even though I was expecting more of a little wait before it did. The male MC had some silly reactions in my opinion but, overall a cute small town romance.

This book is a second chance romance and follows the perspectives of Naomi and Jake. They are high school loves but things end and don't end amicably. After having a successful career turned to fame and a trail of failed relationships Naomi decided to move back her small home town to be with family and in hopes of winning Jake back. Jake however is not happy to see Naomi and with Naomi harboring a little secret that involves Jakes little brother things go from messy, to good, to messier.

When I get into a reading slump I always turn to easy romance reads to pull me out. Although it was nothing special that particularly stood out as something to remember it did the trick an got me out of my slump. Things moved fast in this book, maybe too fast. I didn't feel connected to the characters at all. Other the talk of the fact that it was set in a small town I didn't feel the small town vibe at all.

I found the side characters to be more interesting and may possibly carry on in the series for future slumps.

This was a great book! Jake and Naomi's story is both individually heartbreaking but also influential. Both of them adapted from some of rhe worst grief in different ways and I loved their stories.

Jake and Naomi are high school sweethearts who had a devastating breakup when Naomi left town leaving only a Dear John letter behind. Neither of them seemed to get over each other even as they found love with our partners and their as they reconnected, it was great to see how it all worked out. Naomi still has some big secrets that she has to work out before their relationship can really work out, and Jake's reactions made the story memorable!

I don't have much to say about this one. It was a cute second chance romance. I liked how these two didn't stop living life in the years they were apart and how that shaped them into better people.
