I like this much more than Ways of Seeing, mostly because he doesn’t treat everything he says as if it is Incredibly Deep.

I keep coming back to this collection :)

Some of the “chapters” really resonated while others didn’t. But the ones that did answered questions I didn’t know I had. Berger is a genius. He speaks straightforwardly to describe how language influences our experiences and how we can manipulate that in the capitalist world of jargon we inhabit. I think I will often return to “Some Notes About the Art of Falling” and use this as one of my thesis sources.
