I received this manga from the publisher/Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.

Things I loved about this manga: I loved that Small Nozomi is trying to help out Big Yume. Yume has a fear of going outside/cannot work anymore and she enlists the help of Nozomi to give advice and such. Nozomi helps her out, in exchange for donuts and some help with things. It was great to see Nozomi not just give advice… but also gives Yume some challenges. Like cleaning up her room and throwing away the trash. Or opening the door for the mailman. Slowly letting Yume do a bit more and get her to be outside.

I loved the art as well, it is so pretty! The style is just what I love.

And while I am confused about a lot of things, I did love meeting another tiny person, and seeing someone bigger who looks exactly like Nozomi. It definitely thickens the mystery on why Nozomi is so tiny and why she doesn’t have many memories.

But yeah, it was all a bit too confusing for me. The mystery? I just would have liked at least SOMETHING to happen in the first volume of 3 volumes. Maybe that Nozomi gets a spark of recognition, or maybe remembers more than just the shrine. Or maybe she remembers going to school. But nothing. And later we meet another tiny person and while I did love that, it did also make me scratch my head. Add to that the appearance of big Nozomi, and I am so full of questions it is not fun.

I found Yume to be annoying at times, I get that she is afraid and that it is a real fear, but seriously, at least try to get things cleaned. Also drunk Yume. No. I am glad that she took Nozomi’s help, maybe she will change for the better.

All in all, I am just not sure if I will read the next volumes. I kinda want to, but I have read a few things online (yes, I couldn’t resist) that didn’t make me happy. So unsure as of now.
