Really loved it and got into it. When I finished it I wished there was more to read. It captured the differing attitudes of the era and presented an angle on the time period that I haven't encountered before. The characters were all flawed and sympathetic to varying degrees, and, unusually for a book that swaps view points, I didn't find myself preferring one characters sections over others.

I love the way she depicts women. It's the third Chevalier's novel I read and I loved them all. Although, this is one didn't engaged me as "Remarkable Creatures" did. Anyway, it makes me wanna read more from her.
