The project from Mark was really an insight into different types of relationships, and really how we are all human.
We deserve love, but we also deserve respect and companionship in every relationship.
It all seems common sense, but when you're in a rough time, Mark makes you realise that we are all human, and we have feelings and emotions like every one else, and sometimes the obvious stupid decisions you make are just because all you want is to love and be loved. But that sometimes, those decisions can lead you to toxic relationships, and that its ok to want more.

One of the stories is by a supporter of the evil president whose name I will not say. Really annoying. Detracted from the rest of the book.

This book would have made a perfect podcast. I am a big sucker for podcasts and for Mark Manson's sense of humor. So, this interview like audiobook was a definite treat. Yet, I am not able to consider this as a book. I am clearly on a fence, lol.
The stories were of different kinds and I really liked the fact that they were not scripted or painted too beautifully. The conversations were raw and real. This is really a good listen for people who are in confused relationships.

Fairly basic but helpful advice given in an endearingly friendly manner to people stumbling thru catastrophic but common relationship difficulties.
It's funny how things seem so obvious from the outside, but when you're in them yourself, you're so unaware of the blunders you are committing (otherwise you wouldn't commit them, duh).
Show compassion to people dealing with severe relationship difficulties and just listen. If it's you, be kind to yourself.
The primary takeaway is, unsurprisingly, to state your boundaries and adhere to them. Healthy boundaries lead to healthy mental states and lives by avoiding unhealthy relationships.

It gave me a podcast vibe rather than a book... It wasn't very comfortable to listen to...
I would give it 2 stars out of 5.

Loved it!
Fantastic book, so enjoyable to listen to. Feels more like a really well structured podcast.
Was 7 hours long and I listened to it in 2 days, which I think is a good sign!
4 out of 5, would fight again.

Really enjoyable and perhaps just moderately insightful, not mind blowing- he’s no Esther Perel but he is more fun to listen to.
Some of the interviewees were a bit extreme/odd and it did “read” (audible) more like a podcast.
