A wonderful collection of essays from British authors on trans experiences and the changes that have occurred in the past decade. I especially liked the chapter on the link between DIY punk music culture and constructing identities - very relatable and for someone who doesn't understand non-binary identities, I think it would be a good essay for them to read. Other essays highlighted social and medical changes that I wasn't aware of - mostly because my view on transitioning and trans in general comes from a masculine perspective, so it was really refreshing to learn something from a transfeminine perspective.
