I've said it before and I'll say it again. Tracy Cooper-Posey is a genius with historical romances. There aren't any phrases or actions that will jarringly force you back to the modern world when you are reading one of her books. I love, and appreciate, the time and effort that has gone into the research to keep her characters true to their time. The detail and depth of character development makes it seem like you know the people and aren't just reading a story. She has a wonderful way of pulling you into the world and lives around you that makes reading her books a true delight. This series revolves around The Great Family, and even though each book is about a different couple, the series reads like an Epic. I highly recommend her books to all historical romance lovers.

Another typical story with a twist. This time it's the marriage to save a cousin's reputation. But the story unfolds to so much more with the industrial aspirations of the heroine in a totally modern way, but still very well presented in a nineteen-century context. A good story, very well explored. It keeps us reading the series and waiting eagerly for the next installment. We are really glad that these families have so many children!
