It's relatively well-written, but the plot is bare bones and the characters are two-dimensional. Giving them both a past is not actual characterization, and their relationship develops in about 2 pages. To each their own, but I prefer a lot more plot with my smut.

Look, its erotica. But the man is so dark, mean and possessive. Like I have read other books with people who killed on a regular basis and still took more care with their partner. Its fine, I guess? Really focused on non-con and that's not my thing. I'll try part of the next book, but no promises.
