Cute, short vampire and human story. We have a good vampire who hates killing and a dying human woman. She has magical blood and knows nothing of her past. There isn’t anything mind blowing about this book but it was entertaining!

This is a novella and quite short but packed full. I really enjoyed listening to this mainly because Declan was not like other vampires, he believed that no human should die from vampire feeding on them. Good morals but what happens when the urge to drink consumes him? Riley, a haematologist has something wrong with her blog and goes one one last trip to visit Ireland and it isn’t long before her and Declan become acquainted. Is it a disaster waiting to happen? Well I am not going to tell you what happened because you really need to listen to it yourself, but I really liked it and will definitely be looking for more audiobooks and books by Patricia D Eddy.
The narration was perfect, both Jason and Lucy made the characters come to life.

Narration was good and so was the story. I can’t wait to see what the rest of the series holds. Declan is a sweet, strong alpha vampire. However, he knows when to show it and when to let others leads.
Dr. Scott as she likes other to call her is a strong woman who knows her worth. She wants everyone be it vampire or human to know she has brains as well as a body. Only thing I think was missing from the story is more description of Ireland. Other that that no complaints.

*Audiobook*

This was the first time for me listening to this author and it was awesome, I loved all of it and can't wait to hear what will be next for Riley and Declan. Can't wait to listen to other works by this Author.

Well I hope there will be more, don't get me wrong the book didn't end on a cliffhanger or unfinished business I just fell in love with the characters and would love to hear more. The story was fast and easy to listen to.

The narration was awesome, but I wouldn't expect less of either narrator as their work is always amazing and they are both on my favorite narrators list.

I recommend this book if you like a quick, uncomplicated vampire love story.

It was ok

The book has plenty in the way of drama and suspense, I'll give you that. I find the heroine of the book to be a little hard to relate to though. I don't care how much I love someone if I go through what she went through I wouldn't be getting close to anyone physically. Maybe I'm just weak minded. 🤷‍♀️
