This was probably my favorite one of her books. I didn't care for the sorta unclear ending, but I did like that the killer wasn't glaringly obvious from the beginning. It also dealt well with trauma and how people deal with trauma. I could have lived without the romance, but it still at least made sense.

Karen McManus has once again done it and captured my heart and my attention.

It's not hard for me to devour her books within a single night and Nothing More To Tell was not an exception. She writes YA thrillers that always gets me no matter how much I think I'll dislike it. Spoiler alert: I absolutely cannot hate anything she writes. It's a proven fact.

Tripp was such an interesting and (slightly) dumb character that I can't help but love. If the boy just talks to people and listens to what they have to say, it would really make him happier. His hard-working attitude and self-deprecating self just makes me want to hug him because boy, has he been through a lot. That's why I was satisfied when he had that heart-to-heart with Brynn. Tripp also has some of the best lines in this novel so there.

Brynn was also very fun to read and her journalism skills are something to be envied. Though the main mystery is who killed Mr. Larkin, it doesn't get revealed to the very end. And the way Brynn solves the mystery and resolves to bring the culprit to justice was such a touching gesture. Loved it for her. Love that she's gonna continue to be a journalist.

And my silly little heart had to fangirl when I read those mentions of the Bayview Four and Echo Ridge books. The shortest way to my heart is having all your series together in one universe.

Brynn is a high school student who pitches an idea for a story about the murder of her teacher in order to get an internship.

Brynn’s teacher, Mr. Larkin, was murdered ten years ago. One of the students who found him, Trip, used to be Brynn’s best friend, until shortly before Mr. Larkin’s murder.

The story is told by both Brynn and Trip. It was nice to see the story from both perspectives but I didn’t feel like Trip added a lot.

I get that we’re supposed to be led all over with the characters before the big reveal, but some major plot points seemed anti-climatic (Ex, revealing who is Mr. Larkin’s half-brother). It just seemed a bit rushed at the end and we didn’t even get a real ending. I get Brynn has her theory, but she’s hasn’t really been right all that often so that doesn’t tie it up for me.

Otherwise, I enjoy this author’s writing and would read another book she writes. I just don’t feel like it is quite as good as One of Us Is Lying.

I really loved Nothing more to tell and pray that it's true to its title because phew!!! This was just overwhelming. Atleast the Law and Order series gives you a break every now and then with the  DUN-DUN sound. This is one of those titles where I felt it was necessary lol. The Plot kept thickening and twisting. I kept thinking "GOOD LORD!!! WHAT ELSE COULD HAPPEN?!?!?!?😩😰"

I honestly could not have predicted so many plot twists and gave up guessing what was happening next. This book feels like those videos of erratic, twisting slides people, for some reason, enjoy and you see them unable to grip  anything and slamming into the walls.. Well, that's how I felt while listening to the audio....I LOVED IT!!!🥰
