I absolutely loved this book. Kate Meader is a go to author for me. Max and Charlie's story was unique, refreshing, and so exciting. I can't wait for the next book in the series!

I liked the story. I feel like i would have enjoyed it a lot more if i hadn't just finished re-reading the BDB series again.
Anywayyyys the story was good, characters were good. Lots of great banter.
I enjoyed it and I usually don't love Lawyer romances due to the nature of my job.

Max is a hot shot divorce lawyer, who is actually pretty neat. But he's been burned by love and his profession doesn't' help. When his brother decides to marry his girlfriend of less than a year, Max is skeptical especially because they hired a wedding planner. Charlie Love is a wedding planner and she believes in happy endings. When she and Max meet sparks fly both in chemistry and attitudes.

I liked Max a lot. He's a cynic because that is the best way to protect himself. I really liked Charlie in the beginning but as the book went on I got frustrated with her. She wanted Max to take all the risk and she wasn't will to meet him halfway. I liked the impulsiveness but I wanted to try a bit more.

4/5stars!!

Down with Love gave me serious 90’s rom com vibes which is something I’m slowly getting into in terms of book genres and I definitely enjoyed this one. It’s such an easy read!!

I really loved the character development. It’s so raw and really encourages one’s acceptance of themselves and opening up to love. It’s such a beautiful read and was quite a pallet cleanser.

The storyline was a bit cliche but had nice elements that separated it from the usual reformed (somewhat grumpy) player and the sunshine girlie who believes deeply in love. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series and I definitely recommend this <3

Thank you to GiveMeBooksPR for this copy, this is my honest review!!

Down with Love was an engaging, humorous and sweet read. That easily drew me in and kept me interested throughout. As the characters were extremely likable, very charismatic and fun. And I really enjoyed the banter and romance between main characters Max and Charlie.

And I'm certainly looking forward to read more from this group of characters in the future, and would happily recommend Down with Love to others. As it was a great start to this new series.

I really enjoyed this book, it was super entertaining to read. If you enjoy this genre this would be one of the best I've read this past year. The two main characters had great chemistry and the best banter back and forth. I will definitely be continuing with this series. 4 big stars!

I really enjoyed this. Lots of banter, quips galore. I'm tempted to give five stars because I was completely immersed and loved the characters. This was the strong hit of positivity and fun I needed right now. Loved the writing style, very tight and yet dances right on the edge of too much, squeezing in adjectives upon adjectives but getting away with it. Hell with it, five stars.

This is book #1 in The Laws of Attraction series. Max is a divorce attorney and Charlie is a wedding planner. Their careers are the opposite of one another, but they fight passionately. I couldn’t wait to find out what had happened. Swoon-worthy!! I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.

Introduction
Down With Love is the first book in the "Laws of Attraction" trilogy. This was a book that I read from my Hoopla library subscription and I had a blast with this one in audio. It was so entertaining and I just loved the interactions between the couple. It had a mix of laughs with angst so this author really handles the bantering so well between this. It does have a borderline of enemies to lovers, but its more they are just opposite so that causes some fun conflicts. Just from reading this book, I can see why this trilogy is so well loved by so many readers and I am not sure why it took me so long to read but I can't wait to read more of it in the coming weeks!

Summary
Down With Love is a story about two people that have completely different views on weddings and marriage. Our hero, Max, is a bit cynical about marriage. He works with couples and deals with divorce and seperations and sees the negative affects of long term relationships. When Max finds out that his brother is engaged, but also has hired a wedding planner for their wedding, he is conflicted when there is explosive chemistry with the wedding planner. Charlie Love is a wedding planner, and believe in love and relationships. Charlie and Max go head to head at times as they have differing beliefs, but sometimes love gets in the way.

My Outlook
Down with Love was such a BLAST! I absolutely had so much fun with this one. I love stories with event planners, so it was so interesting to see this dynamic here because this couple was so fun in their interactions. They had me laughing all over the place. I was so entertained in seeing them work through their differences and working with their families. I just love a cynical hero and Max was the epitome of it and seeing him fall for love's tricks was so enjoyable. This author definitely knows how to entertain her readers. I am so curious to see the next one, I have really missed this author's voice in her stories.

Overall View
I found Down With Love to be a lively entertaining romance that curled my toes and kept my heart happy and light! An endearing romance to enjoy!
