this one was really surprisingly good. some very tangible metaphors and examples of self-objectification. a good cold drink thrown in the face.

This book really made me think about myself and how I feel about my body. It helped me look at things through new eyes and a new perspective.

Love the message of this book, though I’ve been slowly learning most of the info for the last 8 ish years. Getting a refresh on all of it came at a really great time since my body has changed a lot in the last 1.5 years and I’ve found myself struggling with body image more than I have years. Very empowering and enlightening and everyone should read!

Great points and backed up by research and personal experiences. It just got a little long, as books of this genre sometimes do for me personally.
