Should you read this?
Yes if:
- You want to read BDSM erotica about a FMC with trauma (TW:) and an MMC that wants to help her work through it.
- You want a quick spicy read.
No if:
- You can't stand typos. (There are so many typos...)
- You don't want to hear the FMC's internal dialogue about how she's "cheapening" herself by doing what she feels is being a "prostitute" (her words, not mine)
Overall, this book kept me entertained. It does feel too short for the story the author's were trying to achieve and it just felt a bit rushed all together. The author's note does mention that they appear in the next book so at least we'll be able to see more of Lucian & Dahlia's progress. I'll probably be reading it.
The FMC goes into the kink community with her only knowledge of BDSM being 50 Shades of Grey. I straight up laughed when I read that. Woof. It almost set a precedent in my mind that this was going to be a badly told tale of unsafe/ abusive practices, but all in all, it ended up being fine.

Tbh I enjoyed this book
I think it was my first BDSM book like I know stuff about BDSM but I hadn't read about it in detail
Tho I do think the BDSM was not enough considering this is literally a BDSM book
I did expect more but it made me get out of my reading slump so I'm giving it 4 stars
