This is an extremely biased five-star review as I am absolutely in love with The Endless, so anything I say must be tempered with that knowledge. That said, this is a delightful addition to my Sandman collection - The stories are all well-written, beautifully rendered, and thought-provoking, and the subject matter is something we can all identify with. I'm of the camp who believe that Neil Gaiman is one of our modern masters of the imiganation, and you can tell he loves his creations as much as we, his avid readers, do. If you like Sandman, you don't need to read this, but you'd be cheating yourself if you didn't.

I recently picked up this collection of all of Neil Gaiman's 'Death' solo appearances. I'd read some of these before, a couple were new to me. Neil Gaiman's work whether it is in graphic novel form, like this or in the more traditional formats is always engaging, lyrical and a pleasure to read. The artwork in all these was superb, so many small details that draw you further into the narrative. For fans of good graphic novels, this is an essential must read.

Death of the Endless is likely the one and only fictional character that I have a bonafide crush on, and these collected works from her two 3-issue limited series have done wonders to amplify that attraction. Once again, Gaiman makes me wish that his fantasies of reality are true; best thing is, in some way, his stories just could be (or at least they feel that way).

I think that this was a really good addition to the sandman series! Make sure you’ve heard the name Foxglove before you start :)
