Solitaire Mansion by Ivy Nelson was a short but brilliant story, it has links to previous Ivy Nelson books and I was engrossed in the story from the go. This book features Kit a business man and Jenna an MMA fighter who does bartending on the side.

Kit is checking out his new acquisition (a bar) in New Orleans when he spots Jenna going into his bar. Events happen between them…..but all is definitely not what it seems. I loved the unexpected and this development really changed the story dynamic. I loved this and the banter between Kit and Jenna was heavenly, the sparks, wow they fairly sizzled with electricity. Jenna stands her ground and is not afraid of Kit but his dominance calls to her in a way she didn’t expect. Kit is a no nonsense guy but in the short time he’s known Jenna has turned his world upside down.

This was a short story but it had everything you would have expected of an ivy Nelson story. There is plenty of drama, intrigue, danger and lots and lots of kink with the odd cameo from other Ivy Nelson stories. All in all a great introduction to Solitaire Mansion and I’m looking forward to see what happens next.

This is my review for Solitaire Mansion: The Fantasy by Ivy Nelson

This is the second thing I have read by Ivy, and she did NOT disappoint. So much happens in such a short number of pages, and quickly too!

Jenna & Kit worked so well together, and I love how they met! I was so sucked into the story that I could not put the book down! I'm excited to see what happens in future books
