I was lucky enough to take a Politics of Science course led by Gary Machlis in grad school, and so I couldn't help but read a lot of this short book in his voice. It was an interesting, often prescient read. I think a book like this benefits from discussion and debate though, and wish I was able to really dig into it in that way. This is a great chart for rough waters, and I think will serve as an important bulletin in our society that will be interesting to look back on in one, five, ten years. Recommended.
