It's still a meh read for me, but at least I enjoyed this a hell lot better than the first book so

Ian is such a cutie, and I like Roxanne a lot, but I feel like the whole 'conflict' is a bit blown up--oi, you're adults! You should handle this a lot more differently!--so the whole 'I love you' business after only two weeks kinda turns me off a bit.

I still like Nathan.

Like the first book in this trilogy, this was kind of underwhelming. It was fun and sexy and the intro point is really fun and heartfelt (much like the first book), but I feel like it has dated poorly with problematic tropes (he doesn't have "full blown" PTSD and being in a relationship causes an effortless improvement). I also felt like they really didn't finish addressing the family drama and some of the conflict continues to feel unresolved. Also the main conflict in the end was barely more than a "big misunderstanding." I'm honestly probably going to read the final book in the trilogy just to see where it goes, but I don't have my hopes up. The author has improved a lot across the past decade, so I'm looking forward to her current stuff more.

Chasing Mrs Right is entertaining enough. I do like the idea that Roxane is the anti comitment heroine while Ian is the hero looking for real relationship.
The chemistry between them is sizzle and fun to read.

What I want more is the depth of the plot/ story. The twist and drama is lacking. Miss Robert almost add nothing into the plot. Just plain. Too plain, in my opinion.

Overall this is OK read.
