This was just fine. I kept reading to see if I enjoyed it more, but I felt Micky and Rhys’ relationship was 95% physical. I liked how Micky helped Rhys navigate his relationship with Anna and how Rhys helped Micky with Sugar and Ice!

Rhys and Freya is so cute.

This is the 2nd book from Sloan St.James that I've read and I've said it but I'll say it again, they are so real. The dialogues, the behaviour, the way of thinking, they are so realistic. I'd say that I'm Freya (according to the FMK thing with pizza, pasta, and taco. We have the same answer) I'm so her.

I love how Freya is freaky and she's the type that is "yeah he's hot so what? I'm not gonna play dumb and innocent. I like what I like" Because I've seen too many FMC where they are "I love him but this is not right" and try to go against, Freya just didn't.

I read some comments about what Rhys said to Freya was rude, I was curious about it but I got it. It was spot on, not the degrading, not whatever weird dom sub shit, it was truly something rude.

one thing tho, I'd say that the recovery stage between the fight and getting back together, do we call it recover or restoration or resolution stage? anyways, i think they are too quick. I'd say Rhys has to show more things or do more things to deserve the forgiveness. It was too quick and even though the duration took days, he just realized that he was wrong about like a couple hours before, so I'd say it's still too quick.

But again, they are so sweet but also spicy at the same time. I love how Rhys is just a normal human too. I'd say that other books, they have the perfect Dom, but here we can see that Dom can be not so perfect, they can do wrongs and I'm not saying they are ok, but at least the room for mistake is realistic and I think it's sweet. As long as the Dom understands and apologize, and put the Sub first, not some scumbag using the Sub.

I love how rough they are, the possessiveness and need is just so amazing. I love the time when Rhys overstimulates Freya (it was so lovely and I can't stop thinking about it).

The only down side I think, either I missed on Freya's last name or what but I don't like Rhys calling Freya "Freya Girl". Unless 'Girl' is her last name. Anyways...

Amazing book, definitely would open it again to read about the overstimulate chapter. Love how they love BJs and face fuck so much, I love that.

Cheers! I love you Sloane St.James

Spoiler I want to ask what makes the team extend Rhys contract to 4 years, with the fact he just fucked up the game?

Spice: 🌶️.5/5
Format: audiobook
Narration: 🎤🎤🎤.5/5

Why did it take me so long to read this book? It’s been on my TBR forever but I think I expected it to be more like a Peter Pan storyline than just a book that uses names and terms from Peter Pan, which was preferable.

I really liked this! James is everything. He’s a walking red flag but Wendy and I happily ignored that and fell in love with him anyway. There were parts of this story that were a little unrealistic but the vibes were all there and it’s definitely a series I’m going to continue.

The narrator who voiced Hook did a phenomenal job. Loved his accent and just everything he did. The female narrator did a good job for Wendy but when she tried to do Boston accents for side characters they came out as this weird New York/Jersey accent that I just could not get past.

4 ⭐️’s - this book was good. Rookie hockey player, Rhys, meets his new roommate/ teammates wife's best friend, Freya aka mickey aka queen of tarts - her followers account, based on onlyfans, name. Rhys' dirty secret is he watches her bake naked on it. This is a very streamy book with some heavy drug use talk and scenes but overall this book was so good and sweet and sexy. The ending jus tied up everything together nicely

Once again, not something super gripping for me and the kinks weren’t my thing, but the additional plot points surrounding loving people with addictions, legitimizing sex work, and a little anonymous you’ve got mail action was nice. A little in person “enemies to lovers” with online crushes and anonymity.
