I really liked this book. I loved the characters and their story and how fictional characters had such real problems. Freya and Rhys are adorable and their love and chemestry is amazing.
The spice in this book is some of the best I have read.

Book two in the Lakes Hockey series was NOT a plot I expected going into it, but it still hit the mark.

It’s a little bit trashier than I typically read, but had some very well written smut.

Rhys is a dirty-talking dom and Freya, aka Micky, is a feisty, webcam girl. That is until she develops a crush on one of her followers, who just happens to be her new NHL neighbor whom she despises.

The plot is very easy to follow and moves pretty quickly. The book touches upon some sensitive subjects regarding addition but handles them very well.

ᴛʀɪɢɢᴇʀ ᴡᴀʀɴɪɴɢs: degradation, addiction, drug use, death

𝘛𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘴 𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘭𝘶𝘥𝘦: neighbors to lovers, enemies to lovers, dom/sub, forced proximity, hidden identity, third-act break-up
