A day in the life of Mel Blanc as a young kid, as recreated by his daughter in law, Katherine. I really like these nostalgic moments and picturing Mel this way. The illustrations by J. Ebbeler are on hot pressed watercolor paper and combined with both black and white and color ink drawings done in Photoshop.
I have always loved Mel’s characters, voices, sound effects and antics. It’s really a touching and amazing concept to imagine him as a kid developing his unique personality.
Bugs Bunny will always be one of my favorites from the “man of 1,000 voices.” At the end is some biographical information. I’ve always thought voice acting was a cool occupation.

Lots of onomatopoeia, and a lovely representation of imagination in the line drawings that pop up in the middle of reality.
