I loved this book!! I must have been hiding under a rock and missed how this was going to be Sienna’s book. Oh my goodness, I love the Gibson boys! I felt all the emotion on these pages. I laughed at Peck, and cried over Siennas integration into this family. I loved her heart, and how she cared for the people in that community. It was a great read!

Mm didn’t connect in the first chapter - sometimes you just know. I didn’t like how the men were portrayed with these gross “blue collar” stereotypes.

This was a nice read. I actually thought that it would go in a different direction and it's the first time in a while where I'll probably read other books in the series because I liked the brothers!

2.5* I really struggled getting into this book and it wasn't the writing per se, it was the style and the prose. The fact that the H and h were internally salivating over each other was described in various over the top ways over and over and over again. The reading experience improved as I went further into the book but it was still difficult.
It wasn't really explained why he avoided getting a divorce other than too much trouble, and why he was in such a funk for such a long time. I assumed it was becuase of how his marriage ended but then he denies this. He was a bit of an emo wuss really.

“True love isn’t something you pick; it’s something the universe picks for you.”

Isn't that perfect? I love love love the Gibson boys and am so excited for this series! I still have mad love for the Landry boys, but these Gibson boys are more what I grew up with- small town country boys. Swoon! And I think Sienna might be my favorite Landry overall- I adore her spunk and sassy personality. Crank had everything I love in my romance reads- heat, passion, humor and of course a bit of angst. Absolute perfection- I stayed up way past my bedtime finishing Crank. A must read!
