Absolutely loved this. I felt so seen as a former Catholic kid/teen/college student and was impressed by just how vulnerable Cameron Esposito could get. The written voice rings so true to her podcast and comedy voices—I have a hard time believing she *could* be disingenuous. Moving, funny, full of hope. Would definitely recommend.

The first half closely follows Cameron’s special Rape Jokes. The second half goes into detail about life after college. Chapter 2 presents body image issues from a thin perspective so it is full of unexamined anti-fat bias. I’m sympathetic but it is difficult to listen to as an actual fat person. I enjoyed the second half of the book a lot more and look forward to listening to Cameron’s podcasts since I have enjoyed the two specials.
