Absolutely loved this. I felt so seen as a former Catholic kid/teen/college student and was impressed by just how vulnerable Cameron Esposito could get. The written voice rings so true to her podcast and comedy voices—I have a hard time believing she *could* be disingenuous. Moving, funny, full of hope. Would definitely recommend.

Thank you to @grandcentralpub for my gifted copy of Save Yourself! I loved this book. It’s obviously funny, since Esposito is an accomplished comic. But it’s also deeply personal and insightful. My favorite parts are when she examines her strict Catholic upbringing and how many tiny ways it affected her worldview and self-worth as non-gender conforming queer woman. There’s some real pain here, but there’s also growth (from both Esposito and others). And there’s always a joke. Highly recommended.
