This book had me laughing, because my dog does ALL of these things! By the end I wanted to cry and give my dog a hug. A sweet little book, that will touch the heart of any furbaby parent

Full disclosure: this is not a kid picture book. Lots of swearing going on. It's from Matthew Inman, the creator of The Oatmeal and it is a hilarious look at the paradox that is the dog. For example, like how dogs love to roll in dirty, disgusting things but always seem to want a certain part of their body clean by licking it incessantly.

I LOVE Matthew Inman. His art is cute and simple..almost super-flat, in a sense, and his humor has made me laugh out loud on more than a dozen occasions. This little book was no exception.

well that was dang cute and had me cracking up.

Observations of the dog, of the strange things they do and think, and how much we love them, even when we're cussing about cleaning up vomit for the 856490373628499th time.
