Oh my gosh what an exciting conclusion! Would I prefer that Dara stayed? YES! That part had me weeping! But all the evolving and growing the main characters Ali, Nahri and Dara went through were amazing!
One thing I didn’t get though was why Jamshid went back with Muntadhir!! What he did to Kaveh was unforgivable! But other than that I LOVED it!!

Honestly a little underwhelming, when I loved the first two so much. It felt about 200 pages too long. Ending was meh. But the world and the characters were too notch as always

An absolutely amazing end to the trilogy. I'm sad it's over, but the story ended so much better than I had anticipated. There were multiple times I despaired at how broken the characters and Daevabad were and how this couldn't have a good ending. But I was wrong. It wasn't a "happy" ending, but it was the right ending and left me hopeful for the characters and their future.
