There’s a reason this book is getting so much buzz....it’s just fantastic. Like a combination of Narnia meets The Library at Mount Char....it has lightness and irony and extreme darkness. E.L. Chen is a masterful writer taking time to describe things in detail and other places just poetic imagery to build the mind pictures of magic. I highly recommend this book to all fantasy lovers....fans of Lainy Taylor and Lev Grossman and Neil Gaiman and Scott Hawkins will enjoy this immensely.
