I've been enjoying the misadventures books in various doses as they're nice quick romances with a ton of spice. This one did have a bit of a plot and it was certainly intense. The tension had me on the edge of my seat and I was rooting for Price and Kate the whole time. I liked the heist kind of on the run vibe and it was definitely on a smidge of the darker side. I needed a book like this and this one certainly delivered.

The love of Kate's life is gone, her life is just living, no happy anywhere. Her sister in law wants to get her out of her shell so she takes her on a vacation, where her life changes forever.
Price was supposed to be dead, at least that's what everyone in his life thought. What he would give to get his life back. Maybe he can....

Seriously?
Spoiler Soooo his excuse for pretending to be dead & not contacting his wife for a whole year, was to keep her safe. But then his selfish ass contacts her anyway and causes the thing he "tried to prevent". THEN he asks her to run away and hide forever with his coward ass, instead of fighting for their miserable lives, but drags out the truth, like it would really hurt her to know everything. And her silly ass just keeps getting dick-stracted. The scenes were hot and I know it's been a year since you seen your sexy hubby, but damn, you are on the run and can't stop screwing for 2 seconds to find out why the hell you are on the run in the first place?
Can someone else? Because I just can't.

**I was kindly provided with an ARC by the Publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review**

Misadventures of a Good Wife was an enjoyable, entertaining read and although it took me a few chapters to get into. I was soon hooked and it stayed that way throughout. And this was down to the story itself. Which was interesting, engaging and different to what I was anticipating. But in a good way. Plus the two main characters Price and Kate were likable and you could certainly feel the chemistry between the pair. Which led to a lot of hot moments and altogether I thought this was a great addition to the misadventures series. That I would happily recommend to others.

An action packed read! I could not put this book down. In typical Hardt fashion, there were so many twists and turns. I'm beginning to think she can make a phone book seem dangerous and entertaining. Can't wait to see what the next misadventure will bring.

Note, I did receive an advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.

A faked death, an adventure and a good wife.
I’m not sure “good” fits Kate. She’s an extremely dedicated wife to a man I’m not sure deserves her.
I enjoyed the adventure aspect of this but have to wonder if it all could have been avoided if Price had gone to the FBI in the first place.

This one was a dud for me, especially the first half. I love the series, but somewhere this fell off.

The second half is good with lot of fast racy sequences so that kept engaged me quite. The first half of the book is just sex. I couldn’t connect with Kate or Price until the 100 page mark. Honestly i dragged along because I didn’t want to leave the book in the series.

But second half caught up for where the first half failed and hence the extra 0.5 stars Lots of fast paced sequences, villains on the trail, hero and heroine on the hiding. Felt like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt running lol.
