My 4yo doesn’t get the humour in this - she pointed out it was mean for the animals to laugh at each other. Maybe she’ll like it when she’s a bit older?

The best picture book you will ever read!!! Funny, relatable, and that last page is EVERYTHING!!! Love it to bits.

At the Ministry of Silly Animal Names, there's a queue of animals who really want to change their names because they aren't happy with how silly they are. My little one was a bit too young to appreciate this story, but I'm going to keep it in mind to revisit with her in the future because it's a very clever way of educating children on some of the more unusual species in the world.
