Very informative regarding the French resistance during WWII and especially getting the Jewish intellectuals, artist, writers, etc. out.

I love when a historical fiction book is inspired by true events or a real person and The Postmistress of Paris is just that. The character Nanee is inspired by Mary Jayne Gold and her work on helping artists and intellects leave France during WWII. After finishing the book I went down the research rabbit hole and learned all I could about what truly transpired in such a pivotal time.
Another thing I love, especially in historical fiction books, is multiple POVs. I love how it really shapes the story, giving you the full picture and really gets you into their mindsets cause they are almost always in trying situations. Nanee, Edouard, and Luki all face drastic and sometimes dangerous challenges during this emotional time period and somehow manage to maintain a glimmer of hope for a brighter future.
Thank you, Partner @bibliolifestyle @harperperennial for this #gifted copy of The Postmistress of Paris and a spot on this book tour.
