A slow burner with a high paced last quarter. Great character development and a twisting plot. Twists and turns and hooks that will capture you into the rest of the books.

Certainly this book was way more interesting than the first book, with more twists and turns. I like Feyre and Rhys relationship and dynamic. I enjoyed the descriptions of the cities, clothing and some of the lore was well explained. But, overall there were like a lot of unneeded characters that made it confusing and like readers are constantly playing catch up. I really disliked the use of ‘male’ and ‘female’ before like every other sentence when describing how someone looked, it’s just not creative. I look forward to continuing with the series but it’s kind of like junk food for my brain.

OMG I DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE HYPE UNTIL I READ IT. I loved this sm!! The first one got me thinking like hmm idk how well this series would go for me but oh my goodness did she deliver with this one. In book one I was kinda like ew Rhys why does she have chemistry with we like Tam but this book changed that completely! The development of the story and characters was so good and left me so excited for the next one! I love Rhys and feyre together so it's just so perfect

Wow, I’m getting whiplash over here trying to figure out where our allegiances lie. I’m loving all of the Night Court character development, found family is one of my favorite of all the tropes.

The feels being evoked are a little too real in this series. It's not just faeries trucking. Question who's the hero and who, the villain.
