I remember the movie with Daniel Craig and was left confused. I like the HBO adaptation of it, so I thought I would go ahead and read the book. I am intrigued by the concept of daemons and can't wait to see the other worlds that are mentioned.

LOVE thsi series. Read once on my own and now reading to my 8 year old son. A LITTLE dark for eight but, complex plot and satisfying and exciting storyline!

I liked the story overall but parts of it bored me for no known reason; I just struggled to read it. Still plan to finish the series and I have high hopes for it considering I loved the BBC adaption.
